Abhishek Khemka

Abhishek Khemka has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Abhishek is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at TrueFort™. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President at Goldman Sachs from June 2020 to March 2023, where they were responsible for designing and developing API for managing post-trade client commissions. Abhishek also designed and implemented an ETL pipeline using Python and Kafka to retrieve trade data for calculating soft commissions. Abhishek worked as a Senior Software Developer at Bloomberg LP from November 2014 to June 2020, where they developed and maintained Bloomberg's reference data product using programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. Abhishek gained experience in UI development using JavaScript. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at RxLogix from November 2013 to October 2014, where they developed an Enterprise Java application for the pharmaceutical compliance industry. Abhishek also has experience in developing a cross-platform library for navigation applications on smartphones as a Senior Software Engineer at TeleCommunication Systems from October 2011 to November 2013. Abhishek worked on projects involving iPhone, Android, and BB10 devices and developed the library using C/C++. At SmithMicro Software, Abhishek worked as a Software Engineer from August 2009 to September 2011 and developed an Android application for managing 3G network traffic on Android phones. Abhishek used C and C++ to develop cross-platform code and received an Outstanding Performer award. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Development Engineer at Spirent Communications from September 2007 to February 2009. There, they developed and maintained Test Executive software for PLTS (Position Location Test System) and ULTS (UMTS Location Test System) using Visual Basic and C/C++ (STL). Abhishek also worked as a Field Applications Engineer at Teradyne from June 2006 to September 2007, representing the company at customer sites, including Broadcom and Qualcomm.

Abhishek Khemka began their education by completing their SSC (School) degree in the field of Electronics at HVB from 1994 to 1997. Abhishek then pursued higher education and obtained their HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) in Electronics from K C College between 1997 and 1999. Abhishek furthered their studies by earning a BE (Bachelor of Engineering) degree in Electronics from TSEC, from 1999 to 2003. Abhishek continued their educational journey by enrolling at Drexel University from 2003 to 2006, where they received an MSEE (Master of Science in Electrical Engineering) degree specializing in Telecommunications. In addition to their formal education, Abhishek Khemka obtained a certification in Foundations of Data Science from edX in October 2018.
