Daniel Van Tassell

Daniel Van Tassell has worked at a variety of companies since 2010. Daniel began their career as an SDET Intern at Microsoft, followed by an SDC Intern at SCI Institute, University of Utah. In 2011, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Zynga, where they led 8 engineers in providing a scalable mobile device lab and created multiple mobile Unity prototypes. In 2013, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Appurify, Inc. (sold to Google). Daniel then moved to TrueVault in 2014, where they were the 2nd employee hired and was responsible for all search APIs. In 2016, they joined Artemis Health Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they created the architecture for storing/saving/persisting multiple kinds of local company widgets and restructured all user permissions to a new inherited structure. Daniel then worked at Nav Inc. in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, followed by HireVue in 2019 in the same role. In 2020, they became a Principal Engineer at L3 Technologies and currently works as an Engineering Manager, Team Lead, Technical Lead, and Sr. Software Engineer at TrueNorth - Profits to Truckers.

Daniel Van Tassell attended Union High School before continuing their education at the University of Utah, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2011.
