Carlos Escórcio

Carlos Escórcio has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Carlos started their career as a Junior Web Designer & Developer at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, where they worked on projects such as website development, email campaigns, and Joomla templates. Carlos then joined BT as a Frontend Developer, where they developed ecommerce web applications for well-known high street retailers. Carlos also worked at Escola Profissional Val do Rio as an Invited Teacher, teaching for three years. Following that, Carlos worked at SmartKISS as a Frontend Developer, gaining experience in the development of front-end interfaces, ecommerce, corporate websites, and email marketing campaigns. Currently, they are employed at Truewind as an Outsystems Developer, focusing on translating designs into functional web interfaces and mobile apps, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and high-performance code.

Carlos Escórcio obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cinema Video Comunicao Multimedia from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended ETIC from 2005 to 2007, specializing in New Media Development.

In addition to their formal education, Carlos has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they earned an Associate Traditional Web Developer certification from OutSystems. In 2016, they obtained the Google AdWords - Mobile advertising certification from Google. In 2015, they received the Formador - CCP (ex-CAP) certification from IEFP. Lastly, in 2014, Carlos obtained the Google AdWords - Fundamentals certification from Google.
