Stephen Woodrow

Stephen Woodrow has over 18 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Stephen is currently the Head of Engineering at Truework since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Lyft as a Staff Software Engineer and Head of Security Engineering, where they were responsible for building and leading Lyft's security engineering program. Stephen also worked at Stripe as a Software Engineer, where they founded the security team and played a significant role in improving the company's security systems. Before that, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Georgia Institute of Technology and as a Research Assistant at MIT CSAIL. Stephen also has experience as a Software Engineer at TRLabs and as an Engineering Summer Student at Manitoba Hydro. Stephen has a strong background in security engineering, infrastructure-focused software engineering, and research.

Stephen Woodrow graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2007 with a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering. Stephen then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed a dual degree program in 2011, earning an S.M. degree in Computer Science and S.M. degree in Technology and Policy.
