Sherri Thomas, SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sherri began their career in 1995 at Wachovia as a VP, where they worked for 14 years until 2009. In 2010, they joined Truliant Federal Credit Union and held various roles, including Vice President Member Financial Services, Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development, and Chief Human Resources and Organizational Development Officer. Sherri is currently the Chief Administrative Officer at Truliant Federal Credit Union, a position they have held since December 2020.

Sherri Thomas, SPHR, has an extensive education history. Sherri obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Elon University's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business from 2012 to 2014. Sherri also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, which they earned from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro between 1990 and 1993.

In terms of additional certifications, Sherri Thomas obtained a Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in October 2016. Sherri has also received a Certificate of Participation in Finance for Executives from Kellogg Executive Education in 2021.
