Richard Duck

Richard Duck is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of precision fixtures, tooling, and jigs, currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Trumpf Photonics since September 2007. As the owner of DatumPoint Design Services, Richard provides contractual CAD services specializing in paper-to-3D translation, drafting, design, and solid modeling. Previous roles include managing the CAD department at Zodiac Aerospace, serving as a Mechanical Designer at Ocean Power Technologies, and holding various engineering and management positions at JDS Uniphase and Bell Labs Lucent Technologies. Richard's background also includes ISO9000 auditing and quality system development within mechanical design groups.
