Matt Green-Armytage has a diverse work experience. Matt started their career at William Evans Ltd as Sales and Customer Relations representative in 2002. In 2003, they joined the British Army as an Officer for the 1st Bn Scots Guards. Matt also spent some time as a full-time student of Modern Standard Arabic from January 2009 to April 2010. In 2012, they worked at Spink as the Manager for Special Commissions & Medal Services. From 2014 to 2020, they held various roles at TrustID, including Business Development Manager in Financial Services, Head of Client Services, and later became the Head of Operations. Currently, they are employed at TrustID as the Chief Operating Officer since January 2022.

Matt Green-Armytage has a diverse education history. Matt began their education at Aysgarth School, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Matt then attended Bradfield College from 1991 to 1996. Matt went on to The University of Edinburgh, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2003 and 2004, focusing on Leadership and Management. In 2009 and 2010, Matt attended the Defence School of Languages, studying Arabic. In 2012, they briefly studied at Manchester Business School - University of Manchester, specializing in AMAC. Additionally, Matt has obtained certifications including the Level 8 Certificate in Strategic Direction and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute in March 2012 and the PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certificate from APMG-International in February 2012.
