Nithya Subramaniam

Nithya Subramaniam has a diverse work experience in the field of design and architecture. Nithya is currently working as a Senior User Experience Designer at TrustCloud since 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Populous, starting as an Architect Technician from October to December 2017. Nithya then served as a Designer 1 from January 2018 to January 2019, primarily working on design pursuits and marketing efforts for sports stadiums and convention centers. From January 2019 to June 2022, they took on the role of Designer 1 and was involved in various projects, including the RiverFront Legacy Masterplan in Wichita and the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center Master Plan Feasibility Study. Furthermore, they contributed to the design and research team for Baylor University's Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center. At Southern California Institute of Architecture, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September to December 2016. Nithya also gained experience as an Intern at Gensler from June to September 2016 and as an Intern (part-time) at Pita & Bloom from December 2015 to January 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Vibrant Bull from February to June 2015, where they designed the company logo and social media content. Additionally, they held the position of Architect at Stand Design Studio from February to June 2015 and served as a Teaching Assistant at BSSA from June 2014 to April 2015. Nithya gained internship experience at Menis Arquitectos from September 2014 to January 2015 and at SDeG from February to May 2014.

Nithya Subramaniam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Balwant Sheth school of Architecture, which they obtained from 2009 to 2014. Nithya then pursued a Master's Degree in Architecture from SCI-Arc, completing it from 2015 to 2017. Nithya also has additional certifications in various fields, such as UX Design from Designlab, which they pursued from 2021 to 2022. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in Giving Your Elevator Pitch, After Effects 2020 New Features, Visual Elements of User Interface Design, Unreal Essential Training (2019), Revit Schedules, and they are also a licensed architect in India through the Council of Architecture.
