PhD Elena Gil González has an extensive work experience in the legal field, particularly in technology and data protection. PhD. Elena is currently working as the Head of Legal at TrustCloud and is also a Nova Talent Member at Nova.

Previously, Elena worked as an Adjunct Professor at IE Law School, where they taught the module on personal data protection in the Program Blockchain: Legal Implications. PhD. Elena also had a role as a Lawyer specializing in Information Technologies and Data Protection at an unnamed company.

Elena has also been involved in academia, having positions as a lecturer at Universidad Nebrija and a PhD Cum laude at Universidad CEU San Pablo. Their doctoral research focused on big data and personal data protection.

Furthermore, Elena gained experience as a Visiting Researcher at the Institute for Information Law (IViR) and as a Lawyer at Ecija, where they specialized in projects related to big data, privacy, and information security.

PhD. Elena began their legal career as an Intern at Cuatrecasas and later worked as a Lawyer at Uría Menéndez. Elena's work experience highlights their expertise in technology-related legal matters and their commitment to research and teaching in the field.

PhD. Elena Gil González obtained a Doble Licenciatura en Derecho y Administración y Dirección de Empresas from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid between 2007 and 2013. In 2015, they pursued a Doctorado in Derecho de nuevas tecnologías from Universidad CEU San Pablo. Additionally, in the same year, they completed a Curso superior en Big Data from Cámara de Comercio de Madrid. In 2015, they also obtained a Diploma en Altos Estudios Internacionales from Sociedad de Estudios Internacionales.

Before their university education, Elena Gil González completed their ESO and Bachillerato degrees from Colegio Los Sauces (Torrelodones) between 1997 and 2007, with a field of study in Ciencias sociales.

In terms of certifications, they obtained a TOEFL certificate from Educational Testing Service (ETS) in January 2016 and an International Legal English Certificate (ILEC) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in June 2014.
