James Barrett

James Barrett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. James has held positions such as Operations Director at TSG, where they led delivery and support across various practices, including Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform. James also served as a Practice Manager, Technical Delivery Manager, and Senior Project Manager at TSG, leading teams and delivering projects of various sizes and complexities. Additionally, James worked as a Project Manager and Technical Team Leader, managing projects and teams at TSG. Prior to TSG, they worked at Concentrix as an Infrastructure Manager, managing a team and handling key customer accounts. James also worked at Taylor Made Technology as a Senior Field Service Engineer and Field Services Engineer, responsible for technical project management, installation, administration, and support.

James Barrett's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology from De Montfort University, which they obtained between 1994 and 1996. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Bangor University, where they studied from 1991 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, James has obtained several certifications. James became certified in Cybersecurity by (ISC)² in March 2023. James also holds certifications in Microsoft 365 fundamentals, Azure fundamentals, Change Management Practitioner, Agile Foundation, Business Analysis Foundation, MSP Practitioner, ITIL Foundation, and PRINCE2 Practitioner. These certifications were obtained between 2016 and 2023 from various institutions including Microsoft, APMG International, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, AXELOS Global Best Practice, and EXIN your ICT competence partner.
