Irving Chien is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions as well as employment law. Currently serving as Counsel at TSMC since January 2020, Irving previously operated as an Associate at Baker McKenzie from March 2015 to January 2020. Additionally, Irving founded Aelite Co., Ltd., a startup focused on rehabilitation and mobility products in Taichung, Taiwan, from June 2013 to March 2015. Irving also completed military service as an Alternative Service Member at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from September 2012 to September 2013 and gained early legal experience through summer internships at Altis Law Group and Kelemen, Mészáros, Sándor and Partners Law Office. Irving holds a Juris Doctor degree in International Business Law from Santa Clara University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies and Political Science from UCLA.
