Katelyn Schmitz

Katelyn Schmitz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Katelyn began their career as a Social Media Coordinator at Excite! Gym & Cheer in 2014, followed by a role as a Dance Instructor at C&C Dance Company. In 2016, they joined the Texas Rangers Baseball Club as a Six Shooters Promotional Team Member.

In 2017, Katelyn transitioned to the Dallas Country Club where they worked as a Server. Katelyn then returned to the sports industry and joined Texas Motor Speedway in 2014, initially as a Promotions team member and later as part of the Events and Promotions team. Katelyn conducted schedules and meetings for the promotional team and handled marketing locations around the DFW area.

In 2019, Katelyn took on the role of Executive Assistant to the VP of Operations at Texas Motor Speedway, where they managed 401K benefits, reviewed contracts and insurance policies, and handled domestic travel arrangements. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Executive Assistant to the President, undertaking tasks such as organizing travel arrangements, generating expense reports, and managing CEO and President Suites/Condos. Katelyn also executed pre- and post-event race projects and provided reporting and analysis for major NASCAR and IndyCar races.

From 2021 to 2023, Katelyn worked as an Event Marketing Specialist at OneDay, where they contributed to the planning and execution of various events. Currently, they hold the position of Marketing Strategist at TSOLife, starting in 2023.

Overall, Katelyn has cultivated a strong background in event marketing, executive support, and customer service throughout their work experience.

From 2015 to 2018, Katelyn Schmitz attended the University of North Texas. During this time, they pursued a major in Sports Management, Sports Recreation, and Event Planning, while also minoring in Marketing. Their field of study mainly focused on Recreation Event Sports Management.
