Martin Grunow is a distinguished academic and professional in the fields of production and supply chain management. Currently serving as Vice Dean and Professor at the TUM School of Management at the Technical University of Munich since September 2010, Martin Grunow holds a chair in Production and Supply Chain Management. Additionally, as Head of the Supply Chain Management section of the German Operations Research Society since January 2018, Martin Grunow contributes significantly to the field. Martin Grunow is also a lecturer for TUMx's Six Sigma and Lean professional certificate course on edX, which has attracted hundreds of thousands of participants globally. Previous roles include adjunct professor and head of the Operations Management Section at the Technical University of Denmark from April 2006 to August 2015, and assistant professor at Technische Universität Berlin from January 1999 to January 2006. Martin Grunow holds advanced degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from Technische Universität Berlin and studied at Dublin City University.
