Aidean Sharghi

Aidean Sharghi has a diverse work experience in the field of computer vision and machine learning. In 2017, Aidean worked as an intern at Midea America Corp, where they focused on designing and developing video processing platforms for low-power computers and boards. From 2018 to 2018, Aidean served as a Machine Learning Research Intern at Sighthound, Inc., gaining valuable experience in machine learning research. Aidean then joined the University of Central Florida in 2013 as a Graduate Researcher, where they worked until 2019. During this time, Aidean conducted research in their role as a Graduate Researcher. In 2020, Aidean joined Intuitive as a Computer Vision Research Scientist, contributing to the field of computer vision until 2022. Currently, Aidean works at Tubi as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, specializing in computer vision.

Aidean Sharghi obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science - Computer Vision from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, where they attended from 2008 to 2013.
