Sarat Chand Tatineni

Sarat Chand Tatineni has extensive work experience in machine learning, computer vision, big data, and analytics. Sarat Chand is currently employed at Tubi as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Walt Disney Company from January 2019 to May 2022, where they contributed to various projects related to computer vision, including 2D to 3D image conversion, anthropomorphic measurements, 3D mesh segmentation, and movie recommendations. Sarat Chand also played a key role in implementing streaming and batch processing applications, using technologies such as Tensorflow, Spark ML & MLLIB, Kubernetes, Akka Streams, AWS S3, Athena, Python, Kafka, and ElasticSearch.

Before joining The Walt Disney Company, Mr. Tatineni worked at Cognizant, starting in 2012. During their tenure there, they held multiple roles, including Big Data & Machine Learning Engineer and Product Manager & Pre-Sales Manager for Big Data Analytics. In these positions, they worked on projects involving machine learning, data analysis, sales prediction, interactive data visualization, and comparative statistics. Their responsibilities also included developing full-stack applications and conducting data profiling using Python pandas.

Prior to working at Cognizant, Mr. Tatineni served as the Manager of Supply Chain Analytics at Arshiya International from May 2010 to August 2012. Additionally, they gained software engineering experience at Cognizant from 2005 to 2008 and at Satyam from 2003 to 2005.

Sarat Chand Tatineni completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Osmania University between 1998 and 2002. Sarat Chand then pursued a Post Graduate Programme in Marketing and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Cloudera Spark and Hadoop Developer from Cloudera in April 2018, as well as certifications as a Scaled Agile Program Consultant - SPC4 and Scaled Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2017.
