Saskia Botha

Saskia Botha is currently a Student Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on variants causing hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in the TNNI3 gene. Simultaneously, Saskia serves as an intern at MyOme, comparing panel and whole genome sequencing for cardiovascular disease diagnosis, and has an internship in interior design at Tucker & Marks. As a co-founder of Respirus, Saskia demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit while previously holding leadership as President of the Free Tutoring Center and participating as a MUN Delegate at the League of Creative Minds. Saskia was selected for the prestigious Stanford Institutes of Medicine Summer Research Program, standing out among over 1600 applicants. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Computation at Stanford University, with a high school diploma earned at Crystal Springs Uplands School.
