David Robinson serves as the Director of Advocacy & Education at Tucson Audubon Society, where responsibilities include leading policy and advocacy efforts, coordinating with various stakeholders on environmental issues, and addressing equity in conservation. Previously, David held multiple positions at Tucson Audubon Society, including Director of Conservation Advocacy and Interim Executive Director. Prior experience includes roles at the Golden Gate Audubon Society, Auk the Vote!, and The College Preparatory School, along with significant contributions to community development and activism through Strategic Actions for a Just Economy (SAJE) and involvement in ACT UP organizations. David holds a PhD in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and has extensive experience in academia as an Associate and Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona.
