Ava Sakamoto

Ava Sakamoto is currently a Tisch Scholar and Research Assistant at Tufts University, involved with the Ali Lab since September 2022. Ava has gained diverse experience as a Clinic Assistant at BAY AREA REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE PC and as an AAPI Meeting Facilitator for BAGLY, Inc. Additionally, Ava served as the ECAASU Artist in Residence, Youth Programs Intern at the Asian Community Development Corporation, Medical Humanities Summer Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine, and Patient Care Coordinator Intern at BAY AREA REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE PC. Previous roles also include an Administrative Assistant at Stanford Neurosurgery and an intern at Gordon Li's Lab. Ava is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Community Health and Preventive Medicine and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art at Tufts University.
