Morgan Prior

Morgan Prior is currently a Business Analytics Intern at Marstone, Inc., starting in September 2022, and an Arts & Sciences Research Fellow at the University of Rhode Island since May 2022. In the research role, Morgan assists in developing a K-nearest-neighbors search algorithm using Rust programming language for large data sets. Previously, Morgan served as a Software Intern at Marstone, Inc. from June 2020 to May 2022, where responsibilities included designing simulations with Monte Carlo methods, refactoring financial planning algorithms, and visualizing financial data with Python notebooks. As part of the Business Analytics Internship at Marstone, Inc., Morgan developed Python programs for ETF analysis and created user analytics dashboards using Amazon QuickSight. Morgan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Finance, with a minor in Computer Science, at the University of Rhode Island, anticipated to graduate in 2024.
