Thomas Peters has a varied work experience in the tourism and entertainment industries. Thomas started their career as a Front of the House Manager and Deputy Front of the House Manager at Stage Entertainment from November 1998 to January 2007. Thomas then worked as a Manager Front of the House & Event Management at Stage Entertainment from January 2007 to May 2009. From June 2009 to February 2012, Thomas served as an F&B Service & Event Manager at Tropical Islands. Thomas then joined TUI in March 2012 as a Project & Operations Manager until March 2015. In April 2015, they took on the role of Product Manager - Sales & Marketing (Ancillaries) at TUI, and later became the Global Head of Transfer Product in February 2019.
Thomas Peters has a diverse education history. Thomas received a degree in Tourismusbetriebswirt (FH) with a focus on Management, Tourismus und Reisedienste from the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden (FH Schmalkalden), where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in European Event Management from the European Media & Event Academy - Baden Baden in 2004. Thomas also has a Vordiplom in Betriebswirtschaftslehre/Economics from the University of Hohenheim, which they received in 2002. Thomas attended Friedrich List Gymnasium Asperg for their secondary education. In addition to their formal education, Thomas obtained a Professional Education Certificate in M&A: Concepts and Theories from the New York Institute of Finance in 2021.
