Walter Isaacson

Walter Isaacson is a distinguished academic and leader, currently serving as a Professor of History at Tulane University since September 2017. Previously, Isaacson held the position of CEO at The Aspen Institute from 2003 until September 2017, and served as an Executive at CNN from 2001 to 2003. Isaacson's career in journalism began at TIME, where Walter worked as a writer and editor from 1979 to 2001. Isaacson's academic credentials include studies at the University of Oxford from 1974 to 1976 and a degree from Harvard University, where education took place from 1970 to 1974. Isaacson is an alumnus of Isidore Newman School.
