Dr. Gorav Gupta

Dr. Gorav Gupta is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in psychiatry and healthcare leadership. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at NITI Aayog since April 2024, Dr. Gupta is also the Founder and CEO of Tulasi Healthcare, a position held since January 1999. Previous roles include being a Member of the Central Mental Health Authority of the Government of India from May 2018 to April 2021, and President of the Mental Research Society from July 2005 to January 2021. Dr. Gupta has held various consulting and departmental leadership positions at renowned institutions such as Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, and Apollo Hospitals. Educationally, Dr. Gupta holds an MBBS degree from Maulana Azad Medical College and two MD degrees, one in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and another in Psychiatry from Lady Hardinge Medical College and Delhi University, respectively.
