Marco Osso

VP, Employee Success at Tulip

Marco Osso is the current Vice President of Employee Success at Tulip. Prior to joining Tulip, Marco was self-employed. From April 2016 to September 2017, Marco served as the Vice President of Global Human Resources for Travel Edge, formerly Worldview Travel. In this role, Marco oversaw all People programs and processes for Travel Edge and its affiliated companies, Kensington Tours and Worldview Travel. This included Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Payroll, HR Technology and Office Management.

During their time at Travel Edge, Marco was responsible for leading the consolidation of all HR programs and policies (Compensation, Vacation, Total Rewards, etc) to ensure consistency in the employee experience across all geographies and business entities. Marco also led the implementation of a new HRIS/Payroll/ATS system on time. In addition, Marco developed HR metrics in order for the organization to make informed decisions regarding people resources. Marco also led the implementation of a Performance Management Program across all three businesses. Under Marco's leadership, the Talent Acquisition team increased their hiring capacity from 30 new hires annually to 120. Marco also developed the Compensation structure with a short term incentive program. Lastly, they restructured HR to better support the needs of the business and implemented a People Manager training program for the first time in the organization.

Marco Osso has a BA in Theirtory from Brock University and is currently completing a degree in Human Resources Management from Durham College. Marco has also completed additional training and professional development courses.

They are on a team with Saira Zia - VP, Global Retail Excellence and Client Success, Dawid Kucinski - VP, eCommerce Development, and Rachel Kuper - VP, Marketing. Their manager is Ali Asaria, President & CEO.
