Simon Partridge

Simon Partridge has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2019 to the present, they have been working at Tumelo as a Technical Lead, leading a team in software development. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at Tumelo. In 2012, Simon worked as a Freelance Web Developer, providing web design and development services for local companies. Simon also had experience as a Lead Developer at Cherrytree New Zealand, where they created an Ecommerce website using Vue.js and PHP webservices. Simon also worked as a Technician at the Student Laptop and Mobile Clinic at the University of Bristol from 2015 to 2018. In 2017 and 2016, they had internships at Ultrahaptics, where they worked on touchless haptics for augmented reality and virtual reality demos with haptic feedback, respectively. Simon also had internship experiences at NetXtra in 2015. Prior to their professional career, they were involved in running a business selling quail eggs and later live birds to local outlets from 2008 to 2014.

Simon attended Hadleigh High School from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained their GCSEs.

From 2012 to 2014, they studied at Colchester Sixth Form College, earning their A Levels.

In 2014, they pursued a Computer Science Masters of Engineering (MEng) degree at the University of Bristol, which they completed in 2018.

During their time at the University of Bristol, Simon Partridge also spent a year studying Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2016 to 2017.
