Britta Jones began their career in 2006 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida. In 2008, they took on a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Stanford University, focusing on a Mouse Model for Studying Functional Recovery from Stroke. In 2009, they became a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist at Tune Therapeutics.
Britta Jones obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pathobiology and Translational Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2009 to 2016. Britta also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry and English from the University of Florida from 2005 to 2009.
