Director of Mission Management at Turion Space

Ingrid "Yessie" Roldan is currently the Director of Mission Management at Turion Space, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Senior Mission Manager at Turion Space from 2018-2021, a USMC ASM Technical Project Manager at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) from 2018-2021, a Manufacturing Engineer I - Guide Wires at Abbott from 2017-2018, a Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics Technician, and Technical Document Translator - Spanish at DPS Electronics from 2015-2018, a Thermodynamics Teaching Assistant and Makerspace Lab Monitor at Montana State University-Bozeman from 2016-2017, a Project Engineer - Intern at Quest Ventures Southwest, Inc. / Quest Civil Constructors, Inc. from 2016-2017, an Engineering Intern at DPS Electronics from 2016-2017, a Design Engineer Intern at Exotic Metals Forming Co LLC from 2015-2016, a Cross Cultural Center at Pasadena City College from 2012-2015, and a STEM Outreach Assistant at El Centro De Accion Social Inc from 2011-2012. During their time at NAVAIR, they managed multiple projects and developed SOWs, WBSs, project scheduling and risk analysis for acquisition, integration and testing in support of USMC GBASM program integration efforts. Ingrid "Yessie" also authored the GBASM Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) for Milestone B decision and program of record transition and lead the NSM Test Team supporting GBASM and OTH-MLS operational test firing missions and large scale exercises. In addition, they motivated a cultural and organizational shift to transition USMC ASM projects to an agile program management framework. At El Centro De Accion Social Inc, they worked with the largest and oldest Latino non-profit in Pasadena to engage underserved elementary and school age children in STEM. Ingrid "Yessie" taught afterschool math and science re-enforcement courses to Jefferson Elementary School children and identified key performance indicators to track student progress.

Ingrid "Yessie" Roldan attended South Pasadena Senior High School from 2009 to 2011 and obtained their High School Diploma. Ingrid "Yessie" then attended Pasadena City College before enrolling at Montana State University-Bozeman in 2013, where they graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2016. In addition, Roldan has obtained various certifications, including Model Based System Engineering for Program Managers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020, Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis (ASME Y14.5M) from Technical Documentation Consultans of AZ in 2020, Review and Extended Principles of GD&T (ASME Y14.5M) from Technical Documentation Consultants of AZ in 2019, Application and Interpretaion of GD&T (ASME Y14.5M) from Technical Documentation Consultants of AZ in 2019, and a Ham Radio License - Technician Level from ARRL, The national association for Amateur Radio in 2017.
