Katy Morsony is an experienced legislative attorney and advocate specializing in regulatory law and administrative litigation, with a focus on utility consumer rights. Currently serving as Legislative Attorney and Assistant Managing Attorney at TURN - The Utility Reform Network since September 2018, Katy manages legislative strategies and advocates for residential customers at the California Public Utilities Commission, particularly in areas such as wildfire and electric distribution. Previously, Katy held roles as Energy and Regulatory Attorney at Buchalter and Alcantar & Kahl LLP, advocating for natural gas and electric customers. Katy's expertise also includes experience as a Congressional Liaison Specialist at the Federal Trade Commission and involvement in various legal internships, culminating in a JD from The University of Texas School of Law and a BA from Emory University.
