Ryan Everton has a diverse work experience. In 2012, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Turn (formerly Globelet), where their role involves driving the growth of the company and overseeing all high-level aspects of the business. In 2011, they became a Public Speaker & Podcast Presenter for Good Business, where they speak regularly on the future of plastics at colleges, conferences, and corporate offices. In 2010, they co-founded Just Pies Ltd, where they started a pie cart twice a week serving students at night. Ryan also employed two others to oversee the running and service of the cart.
Ryan Everton completed their High School Diploma at Whanganui Collegiate School from 2005 to 2010. Ryan then attended University of Otago from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Legal Studies, General. In 2011, they also attended University of California, Berkeley, though no degree or field of study was specified. Additionally, Ryan has obtained several certifications, including a Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) from Duolingo in June 2016, a Class 4 Heavy Truck Licence from the NZ transport authority, Grade 6 piano, and a NZ food safety certificate from Otago polytechnic.
