Walter Holbrook

Walter Holbrook has extensive experience in retail and organizational development, currently serving as "Yoda" at Yoda Retail Consulting since August 2017, focusing on leadership, coaching, product development, and a sales-driven mindset. Prior roles include Senior Buyer for horticulture, garden decor, and pottery at Turner Ace Hardware since May 2008, and as Chief Executive Officer of Kids Outlet, an off-price children's apparel chain from 2005 to 2007. Walter was Senior Vice President of Operations at Gabes, overseeing a $500 million off-price retailer from 2002 to 2005, and spent nearly three decades at Kmart Corporation in various roles, including Vice President for a $4 billion business unit. Earlier career experiences include positions at E.J. Korvettes, starting as a sales associate and advancing to regional director. Walter holds education from the Detroit Institute of Art.
