Syed Mujtaba Hasan

Syed Mujtaba Hasan has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Syed Mujtaba began working for Turner Laser Systems in 2019 as an Engineering Intern before being promoted to the role of Mechanical Engineer in April 2020. At Cepheid, Syed served as a Hardware Engineering R&D Intern in 2018, where they conducted system-level lifetime testing, designed and built modifications for manufacturing fixtures, and redesigned thermal probes for injection-molding manufacturing. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Design R&D Intern at Cepheid in 2017, where they designed support fixtures, conducted risk assessments, and collaborated with mechanical engineers and the manufacturing team. Syed has also gained experience as an Admissions and Records Student Assistant at Las Positas College from 2014 to 2016.

Syed Mujtaba Hasan began their education in 2013, attending UC San Diego, where they studied Engineering Physics until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they attended Las Positas College, focusing on Engineering. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronics at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2016 to 2019.
