Ashley Yonts, MBA, SHRM-CP

Ashley Yonts, MBA, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ashley has most recently been serving as a Human Resources Manager at Turning Point Brands, Inc. since March 2022. In this role, Ashley provides management support and addresses employee-related issues. Ashley is responsible for managing training, policy implementation, employee relations, and temporary agency relationships. Ashley also oversees the organization's safety and health programs.

Prior to their current role, Ashley worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Turning Point Brands, Inc. from April 2021 to March 2022. Here, they administered human resources policies, programs, and practices. Ashley was involved in labor relations, recruitment efforts, and handling employee issues and complaints.

Before joining Turning Point Brands, Inc., Ashley served as a Human Resources Generalist at Magna International from August 2020 to April 2021. In this role, they implemented and coordinated various human resources activities, including recruitment, labor relations, and employee issue resolution.

Additionally, Ashley has worked in HR positions at CCM, where they were a Human Resources Generalist from February 2020 to August 2020. Ashley also served as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and a Human Resources Representative at CCM. In these roles, Ashley handled various HR responsibilities such as onboarding, employee engagement, recruitment, and policy implementation.

Prior to their HR roles, Ashley gained experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Rotech Healthcare from August 2018 to July 2020. Ashley also held positions at Browning's Pharmacy & Health Care, First Church Preschool, Danville High School Band Boosters, Lexington Clinic, Norton Healthcare, and Baskin Robbins earlier in their career.

Throughout their career, Ashley has demonstrated strong skills in HR management, employee relations, policy implementation, and recruitment. Ashley'sdiverse work experience has provided their with a well-rounded set of skills and a breadth of knowledge in various industries.

Ashley Yonts, MBA, SHRM-CP, obtained their Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, graduating in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion from Morehead State University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition, Ashley holds an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist from Morehead State University, obtained between 2012 and 2014.

Apart from their formal education, Ashley has also obtained several certifications. Ashley is a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified by Mountain Home Training since April 2020. Ashley is also a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certified by SHRM since February 2020. In 2015, Ashley received CPR certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, and they became a Registered Respiratory Therapist through the National Board of Respiratory Care in January 2015.
