Akshay Joshi has a diverse work experience in finance and investment roles. Akshay joined Turning Rock Partners in 2022 as a Principal. Prior to that, they served as Vice President at Golub Capital from 2019 to 2022. From 2017 to 2019, Akshay worked at Goldman Sachs as an Associate in Principal Funding and Investment. Akshay also gained experience as an Associate at Houlihan Lokey from 2016 to 2017. At the start of their career, Akshay worked as an Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions at G2 Capital Advisors/G2 Securities from 2015 to 2016 and as a Financial Analyst at Landmark Group from 2011 to 2014.
Akshay Joshi completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston College Carroll School of Management from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 2006 and 2011. Additionally, they received their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Financial Accounting & Auditing from the University of Mumbai from 2006 to 2009. Akshay also holds certifications such as the Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and the Series 79 - Investment Banking Representative Examination from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Furthermore, they are a Charter Pending candidate for the CFA (Charter Pending) qualification from the CFA Institute, obtained in 2009.
