Kristin Urban

Kristin Urban has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kristin began their career in 1999 as a Wireless Support Trainer at Stream International, where they provided support for the HP Pavilion and HP's PDA line. Kristin later worked at Handango as an Operations Systems Analyst, administering the backend and setup of the RightNow eService application.

In 2005, Kristin joined Centex as a Business Analyst, leading the implementation of a new CRM system and ensuring proper functionality and use of the product. Kristin then moved to RealPage, Inc., where they held various roles including Lead Business Analyst, Business Analyst II, Product Manager III, and Product Manager IV. In these positions, Kristin managed product roadmaps, developed client relationships, and coordinated between marketing and sales to drive revenue.

From 2016 to 2018, Kristin served as the Director of Product Management at ResMan Property Management Software, where they performed financial due diligence, analyzed competition and market landscapes, and evaluated opportunities to maximize profitability and strategic goals.

Most recently, Kristin worked at Turnitin as an Associate Director of Product. In this role, they assessed customer needs, defined key product objectives, delivered business cases for product proposals, and created user interface wireframes and prototypes. Kristin also collaborated with various departments to develop go-to-market plans and managed the product build cycle.

In addition to their corporate roles, Kristin also ventured into entrepreneurship in 2019 as the Owner/Operator of Urban Family Farms.

Kristin Urban completed their Bachelor's of Science in Business Information Systems Management from the University of Phoenix between 2008 and 2012. Kristin also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in 2015. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Specialist in Housing Credit Management and a Certified Professional of Occupancy from NAHMA - The National Affordable Housing Management Association in 2018. Furthermore, they acquired the After Effects 2020 New Features certification from LinkedIn in 2021.
