Krystal Gabriel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Krystal is currently the Director of Talent Management/Development & Culture at Turnitin since 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategic Advisor at BentoHR from 2019 to 2021. Krystal also served as the Head of Field Talent Development & Strategy at Athleta from 2017 to 2018 and as an Account Executive at Meda Team in 2017. Krystal has experience as a Leadership, Strategy & Marketing Consultant at Float House from 2012 to 2017 and as the Head of Business Development & Strategy at ViRTUS from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, Krystal worked as a Human Capital and Strategy Consultant at Deloitte Canada in 2013 and as a Product/Platform and Creative Marketer at Mindvalley in 2012. Krystal has also held roles at FortisBC and Sideout Fitness Inc. and Wellness Works earlier in their career.

Krystal Gabriel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at The University of British Columbia from 2004 to 2008. Krystal then pursued further education in Kinesiology and Commerce at The University of Texas at Austin from 2003 to 2004. Krystal later earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with focuses in Entrepreneurship, Service Management, and International Business from the University of Victoria between 2011 and 2013. In 2017, Krystal enrolled at Expert Academy to study Thought-leader Business Building. Alongside their formal education, they obtained various certifications, including MHS (EQi~360 Emotional Intelligence) in 2020, Certified Copy Writer from The Copy Posse in 2020, ICF Associate Integral Coach from Integral Coaching Canada in 2015, and Practitioner and Coach in Neuro-linguistic Programming from the iNLP Center in 2014.
