Niloufar Khojandi, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of research. Most recently, they are working as an Associate Scientist at Turnstone Biologics since 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Researcher Phd Candidate at St. Louis University School of Medicine from 2017 to 2022. In this role, their research focused on understanding the impact of obesity on outcomes in cancer patients treated with immunotherapy and discovering new combinations of treatments with novel molecules to enhance the efficacy of immunotherapy.

Following their undergraduate studies, Niloufar pursued a Master's Degree in Chemistry at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2013 to 2015. Niloufar then shifted their focus to biology and completed another Master's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the same institution from 2015 to 2017.

Driven by their passion for immunology, Niloufar enrolled at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2017 and is currently working towards obtaining their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology. Their expected graduation year is 2022.
