Audrey Hartwell (Nitzel), M.S. CCC-SLP, is a dedicated speech language pathologist with extensive experience in pediatric settings. Currently serving as the Manager of Therapy at Turnstone Center, Audrey specializes in pediatric dysphagia and augmentative and alternative communication. Prior roles include Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist at Educational Service Unit No 2 and a pediatric externship at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, where Audrey focused on rehabilitation for feeding and language disorders. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Central Michigan University, graduating summa cum laude. Audrey's background encompasses a strong foundation in clinical evaluation and treatment across a range of speech and language disorders, complemented by leadership and collaboration in educational settings.

Turnstone is on a mission to empower people with disabilities. Founded in 1943 as Allen County Society for Crippled Children, Turnstone has been meeting the needs of children and adults with physical disabilities for the past 68 years. The agency is excited to offer a variety of programs and services to the residents of northeast Indiana and further.
