Max Rye

Chief Strategist at TurtleTree

Max Rye began their career in 2003 as the CEO of Royal IT, working in the IT industry for over 15 years on enterprise cloud infrastructure projects and corporate IT solutions. In 2011, they moved to Mahler Enterprises as a Senior Information Technology Specialist. In 2019, Max Rye became a Co-Founder and Chief Strategist at TurtleTree, inspiring the most talented scientists and engineers to join their team to scale up. Max also assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer at TurtleTree. In 2020, Max Rye became a Unreasonable Fellow at Unreasonable and Co-Founder at TurtleTree Scientific, producing food grade growth factors and cell culture media to design the necessary foundations for the cell based food industry to thrive.

Max Rye is currently enrolled in an Executive MBA program at ESSEC Asia-Pacific, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022. Max also attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020, where they completed a Business of Biotechnology program in the Business field. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis in 2001. Max Rye also holds several certifications, including CCIE from Cisco (obtained in 2003), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS Elemental, an Amazon Web Services Company, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional from AWS Elemental, an Amazon Web Services Company, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional from Amazon Web Services, MCSD from Enterprise: Microsoft Azure, Oracle fusion, IBM, MCSE from Microsoft, and RHCA from Red Hat Technologies LLC.
