Jukka Kola

Jukka Kola is the current Rector at Turun yliopisto. Prior to this, they were the Director at Turun yliopisto from April 2019 to July 2019. Jukka has also worked as the Chief Senior Specialist at Työ- ja elinkeinoministeriö – Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (Finland) from January 2019 to February 2019.

Kola has had an extensive academic career, spending over 25 years at the University of Helsinki. Jukka served as the Rector at the University of Helsinki from August 2013 to July 2018 and as Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry from January 2004 to December 2009. Jukka was also a Professor at the University of Helsinki from August 1992 to March 2019.
