Kwame Nkrumah

Kwame Nkrumah, MS has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kwame is currently employed at TuSimple as an Enterprise Engineering/Application, Business Systems Analyst. Prior to this, they worked at Columbia University in the City of New York as a Systems Operations Specialist. Kwame also gained valuable experience at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where they served as an Operational Excellence Intern and a Research Analyst, contributing to procedure improvement initiatives, reducing healthcare costs, and improving operational workflow. Kwame previously worked at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as a Healthcare Coordinator, managing operations and ensuring a positive patient experience. Kwame also has experience as a Talent and Education Internship at the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, where they successfully increased sponsorships and managed client data using SQL and Tableau. Kwame served as a Resident Assistant at Binghamton University, cultivating an inclusive community and providing support to students. Kwame Nkrumah obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Science Engineering from the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University. Kwame pursued this degree from 2020 to 2021, specializing in Systems Science and Industrial Engineering. Prior to their master's degree, Nkrumah completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. During their education, they also obtained additional certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in March 2021 and a Design Thinking for Healthcare certification in October 2020, both from Binghamton University.
