Lei Wang

Dr. Lei Wang is the Executive Vice President for Technology at TuSimple. Lei is a well-known expert in artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. He received his bachelor’s degree in Math & Physics from Tsinghua University and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focused on optimization algorithm designs in artificial intelligence and machine learning. He has over 20 publications in top journals and conferences and holds 15 patents in related areas. Before joining TuSimple, He was a senior staff engineering manager at Instagram and Executive Director of prediction and planning at WeRide.
