Aaron Stevens

Aaron Stevens has a diverse work experience in both academic and online tutoring settings. Aaron began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Trevecca Nazarene University, where they gained experience in research projects and programming. Aaron also worked as a Tutor and Content Reviewer at Tutor.com, providing online tutoring in physics and math subjects. At Vanderbilt University, Aaron served as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant, focusing on developing a mathematical/computational model of calcium signals in Drosophila pupae epithelial tissue. Additionally, they held the position of Teaching Affiliate, where they planned and led a workshop for incoming physics graduate teaching assistants. Overall, Aaron has demonstrated strengths in research, teaching, and tutoring within the field of physics.

Aaron Stevens completed their high school education at Parkview High School, earning a High School Diploma between the years 2007 and 2011. Aaron then pursued their undergraduate studies at Trevecca Nazarene University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from 2011 to 2015. Aaron continued their academic journey at Vanderbilt University, where they recently completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biophysics from 2015 to 2020.
