Jim Barnes

Jim Barnes has a strong background in sales and education partnerships. Jim started their career as a Sales Director at Collegis, where they worked on academic solutions for four years. Jim then moved on to Pearson eCollege, where they served as the VP of Eastern Region Sales for one year. After that, they joined Unimarket as the VP Sales and remained there for three years. Currently, Jim is the Director of Education Partnerships at Tutor.com. Prior to this role, they held the positions of Vice President of Higher Education Sales and Director of K12 Sales at Tutor.com. In these roles, they were responsible for managing teams and driving new business development in the higher education and K12 markets.

Jim Barnes completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Lehigh University from 1971 to 1975. Jim later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Information Technology from The George Washington University, graduating in 1983.
