David Doerr

David Doerr is an experienced professional currently serving as a Research Manager at TÜV Rheinland Group since May 2001. In this role, David advises the German Federal Ministries of Economic Affairs and Climate Action and Education and Research on research and development, transportation-related policy, and EU Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation. David also acts as the German National Contact Point for Surface Transport and coordinates transnational research initiatives, while managing the national transportation research programme "Mobility and Transport Technologies." Prior to this, David worked as a Scientific Officer at the German Aerospace Center from February 1999 to April 2001, where responsibilities included preparing for the German chairmanship of the EUREKA initiative and supporting research participants. David holds a Master of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts from Carroll University.
