Johann Medina

Johann Medina has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and technology. Johann is currently serving as the Chief Architect at Tuya S.A. Prior to this, they worked at Seguros SURA as the Director of Architecture, where they were responsible for creating guidelines and governance for core insurance and healthcare platforms. Before joining Seguros SURA, Johann worked at IBM as a Delivery Architect and Middleware Team Leader. Johann also has experience as a Teacher at Universidad EAFIT, and as a Software Architect at Areamovil. Additionally, they worked as a Support Engineer and Software Leader at Unión Eléctrica S.A.

Johann Medina has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Universidad EAFIT, obtained in 2004. Johann also holds a Software Development Specialist degree from the same institution, obtained in 2008. In terms of certifications, Johann has obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including Microsoft and IBM, specializing in areas such as cloud computing, leadership, and software administration.
