Josuani R. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Xpertise Global Trading Ltd., where they identified new business opportunities, assisted in sourcing operations, and negotiated agreements. From 2014 to 2016, Josuani served as a Sourcing Quality Manager at Industrias Somi S.A de C.V., ensuring compliance with engineering and manufacturing specifications in Chinese supplier materials. They then took on the role of Branch Manager at the same company, overseeing operations, implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance, and managing spending and categories. In 2020, Josuani worked as an Account Development Manager at Pluvi AB, where they built and maintained customer relationships and managed business support functions. Currently, Josuani serves as the Senior Business Development Manager at Tuya Smart, responsible for developing new commercial alliances and maintaining relationships with current customers. They also conduct market research and provide training and technical support as needed. In July 2022, Josuani was promoted to Director of Business Development at Tuya Smart.

Josuani R. holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. In 2007, they attended Liaoning Normal University to study Chinese Language and Literature. Josuani also pursued studies in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
