Susan Kiama

Susan Kiama is the current Chief People Operations Officer at Twiga Foods. Prior to their current role, Kiama served as the Director and Chair of the Technical Committee of the Board at the Kenya Airports Authority from February 2019 to February 2022. Susan also served as the Director and Chair of the Human Resource Committee of the Board at Kenya Airports Authority from October 2015 to October 2018. From March 2010 to June 2012, Kiama was the Managing Director at 21st Century Pay Solutions East Africa Limited. Susan has also held roles as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at SOS Children's Villages Kenya and as a Board Member at Allavida Kenya. Kiama began their career as the Chief Human Resource Officer (HR Director) at Safaricom Limited from January 2002 to December 2007.

After completing a postgraduate diploma in personnel management and industrial relations at Kingston University, Susan Kiama went on to study for a Bachelor of Arts in business administration at Richmond, the American International University in London. Susan later completed a GEMBA at USIU.

They work with Felix Omamo - Chief Commercial Officer, Yebeltal Getachew - CEO, East Africa, and Kikonde Mwatela - COO. Their manager is Peter Njonjo, Group CEO & Co-Founder.
