Ashley James, MS

Ashley James, MS, is a seasoned professional in the life sciences industry with a focus on sales and business development. Currently serving as an NGS Sales Specialist for Twist Bioscience since March 2022, Ashley previously held positions at GENEWIZ as an Account Manager and at the WorldWide Life Sciences Division as a Business Development Executive and Laboratory Consultant. Ashley's background includes significant experience in microbiology and research, having worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Eastern Virginia Medical School and a Microbiologist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, among other roles. Ashley possesses strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills, having presented research at national conferences and led various laboratory initiatives. Ashley earned a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences Research from Eastern Virginia Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Anatomy from Longwood University.
