Kai Seehaus

Kai Seehaus is an experienced sales and business development professional in the synthetic biology and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Sales Manager DACH and Sales Manager Germany at Twist Bioscience since July 2019, Seehaus plays a pivotal role in promoting the company's innovative silicon-based synthetic DNA manufacturing process. Prior to this, Seehaus worked as a Business Development Executive at Metabolon, Inc., focusing on metabolomics for biomarker discovery and personalized medicine. Additional experience includes managerial roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Applied Biosystems, where Seehaus was involved in global corporate accounts and strategic account management. Seehaus holds a PhD in Biology from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, obtained between 1992 and 2001.
