Kostas Konstantopoulos

Kostas Konstantopoulos is an experienced sales manager and specialist in next-generation sequencing (NGS) with a career spanning over a decade in the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as the Sales Manager for NGS at Twist Bioscience since January 2018, overseeing a team of six specialists across North Europe, Kostas has previously held significant positions at Roche and Kapa Biosystems. Notable achievements include being a finalist for the Roche Sales Person of the Year award in both 2016 and 2017. Kostas has a strong research background, having obtained a PhD in Developmental Biology from the University of Patras, complemented by a BSc in Biology focusing on Genetics and Molecular Biology. Additionally, Kostas co-founded the Pint of Science festival, aimed at engaging the public with scientific knowledge through informal presentations in local venues.
