Tom Stern

Tom Stern is an experienced electronics engineer specializing in advanced development and DNA data storage at Twist Bioscience since May 2022. Previous roles include consulting and laboratory management at Sol-Chip, where responsibilities encompassed multi-protocol communication board development, experimental analysis, and electronic circuit prototyping. Prior experience at Intel Corporation involved silicon layout for next-generation core products, while Tom also founded Monomonster, producing guitar effects and electronic modules. Leadership roles held at Evets Corp. and a hardware engineering internship at Biosense Webster contributed to extensive project management and development expertise. Tom has a solid educational background, currently pursuing studies at the University of the People, with previous education at Technion and The Open University of Israel.
